Nov. 5th, 2014: The Legend Of Diederik

Just because Halloween is over doesn’t mean that there aren’t still a few things that may go bump in the night. Who knows what may wait just around the corner.

In the Nov. 8  WRDE Arts & Entertainment Report (during the 6 and 11 PM newscasts), we went on location to the ground of the Lewes Historical Society and a variety of other sites around town to present a story with a supernatural twist.

Does the spirit of a young, 17th-century era settler roam the streets of Lewes on a mysterious quest? Some say yes.

Recently, the para-historian group known as Delmarva Historic Haunts held two consecutive sold out paranormal investigations on the grounds of the Lewes Historical Society. Based upon reports, several of the initially skeptical attendees left as believers based upon their eye-witnessed accounts of the evening.

By weaving together bits and pieces of eyewitness accounts, folklore, historic documentation with some very skillful camera work – we bring you the Legend Of Deiderick.

Just don’t say you weren’t warned….
